Form to CRM
A Google Form, Typeform, or Monday form submits, Make catches the webhook, parses the fields, and creates a new record in the CRM (Monday, HubSpot, or Airtable). Round-robin assignment and Slack notification can bolt on to the same scenario.
Invoice to accounting
A signed contract or paid invoice from a payment tool (Stripe, Square, or a form) triggers Make, which creates the customer and invoice inside QuickBooks or Xero and files a copy in the client folder. This one saves the most time for small firms that were previously entering invoices by hand.
Calendar to Slack
Make reads the day's calendar in the morning, formats it, and posts a summary to a personal or team Slack channel. The version worth building includes prep links (last meeting notes, CRM record for the attendee) so the team walks in prepared.
Email label to task board
Apply a Gmail label to a thread, Make picks it up, extracts the message, and creates an item on a Monday or ClickUp board with the sender and subject preserved. This one is how a lot of teams build their first inbox-zero habit.
The payback math
Every one of these is a couple of hours to build, saves single-digit hours a week per person, and pays back inside a month.
