1. Who we are
Pathana ("we," "us," "our") is an operations systems and automation consultancy operating in the United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit pathana.co or contact us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information we collect
Server access logs (automatic)
Our website is served through Cloudflare. When you visit any page, Cloudflare automatically records:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type, version, and language
- The pages you visited and the time of each visit
- The referring URL (the site that linked you here, if any)
- Approximate geographic location, derived from IP
These logs are used for security, fraud prevention, and to keep the site online. We do not use them to build a profile of you personally.
Email you send us
If you contact support@pathana.co, we receive your email address, name (if you include it), and whatever you write. We use this only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Booking a call
The "Book a call" button on this site is a link to Google Calendar. When you click it, you leave pathana.co and interact directly with Google's booking page. Any information you enter there (your name, email, timezone, and any notes you add) is collected by Google under Google's privacy policy, then shared with us as the meeting organizer. We use it only to attend the call you booked.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Keep the website available, secure, and performing correctly
- Respond to messages you send us
- Attend calls you book with us and follow up afterward
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests
We do not use your data for advertising, resale, or AI model training.
4. Who we share it with
We share your data only with the service providers that make this site and our business run:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and security. Cloudflare processes access logs on our behalf. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google — provides the Calendar booking flow and, if you're a client, may host business email correspondence. See Google's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order, or other lawful process) or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
5. Cookies and tracking
Pathana.co itself does not set cookies. Cloudflare may set a small number of security-related cookies to protect against bots and abuse; these are technical, not tracking, and are not used to build advertising profiles. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are used on this site.
6. Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected:
- Access logs — retained by Cloudflare per its standard retention (typically no more than a few weeks for detailed logs)
- Emails and call notes — kept for as long as the relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal requirements (typically up to 7 years)
- Booking records — retained inside Google Calendar for as long as needed to manage the meeting and follow-up
You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — HTTPS everywhere on this site, restricted access to email and booking data, and reliance on vetted, security-focused providers (Cloudflare and Google Workspace). No online transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
8. Your rights (general)
Regardless of where you live, you can always:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that's wrong
- Ask us to delete information we hold about you
- Ask us to stop using your information for any specific purpose

9. If you're a California resident (CCPA / CPRA)
The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act give you additional rights:
- Right to know — what categories of personal information we collect, from whom, and why
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — Pathana does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights
To exercise a California right, email support@pathana.co with the subject "California Privacy Request." We may ask you to verify your identity before we release or delete information.
10. If you're in the EU, UK, or EEA (GDPR / UK GDPR)
For visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, Pathana acts as the "data controller" for the personal data described in this policy.
Our legal basis for processing:
- Legitimate interests — for server logs (site security and reliability)
- Consent — when you voluntarily contact us or book a call
- Contract — when we're providing services to you as a client
- Legal obligation — when required by law
Your rights under GDPR:
- Access — get a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — have your data deleted
- Restriction — limit how we process your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to specific processing (including legitimate interest processing)
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
International data transfers. Pathana is based in the United States. If you contact us or book a call, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and the safeguards of our service providers (Cloudflare, Google) for transfers, and you can ask us for details.

11. Children's privacy
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, note them here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
